The Miami Dolphins confirmed Tuesday they interviewed Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer for the team's vacant head coaching position.

The Dolphins top choice for the job is former Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher, who is expected to decide by mid-week whether to accept the job with Miami or St. Louis.

Miami has also interviewed Green Bay offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, Chicago Bears special teams coach Dave Toub and Dolphins interim head coach Todd Bowles.

The Dolphins also plan to interview Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey later this week.  Mularkey was scheduled to meet with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday.
